We believe Yoga, Meditation and Mindfulness are powerful tools to help better process the challenges of the modern world. Our purpose is to make these practices accessible and available to vulnerable and marginalised communities and celebrate mental health as the starting point for a health society.
ACCEPTANCE LOVE COMPASSION
A society is only healthy when everyone’s health is considered and in order to thrive rather than simply survive we need to take mental health seriously.
Flip Your Dog For Mental Health started as a fundraising initiative supporting charities who provide psychological and emotional support for people in need.
Between May and the end of December 2020 we raised over five thousand pounds through donation based yoga classes.
Since January 2021 we have broadened our project to include delivering community wellbeing projects to people in need. We are developing partnerships with organisations including Mind and co-creating programmes that support the emotional, spiritual and mental health of their clients.
We are also building relationships with experienced and passionate facilitators who will be bringing their knowledge to these projects.
Delivering this work and supporting the emotional, spiritual and mental health of vulnerable and marginalised humans is why Flip Your Dog For Mental Health exist.
