CHALLENGE 1:

7 days of yoga for mental health

  • Set yourself the goal of doing yoga for 7 consecutive days. This can be with us, a self practice at home or with any of your other favourite yogi’s. (Remember yoga includes asanas, breath work, meditation)

  • Tell your friends and family you are doing ‘7 days of yoga for mental health’ and invite them to sponsor you @ https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/FYD4MH using the hashtag #MHAW21_[your fundraising name]_ 7daysofyoga4mentalhealth. 

  • Receive email updates on fundraising and tell your community how much you have raised together.

  • Make noise about what you're doing! Post a picture or video of your preparation/practice, and the event itself on social media, you can even go live on IG or FB if you like. 

  • Tag some friends and invite them to take part.

108 sun salutations for mental health

  • Set yourself the goal of doing 108 sun salutations along with the Flip Your Dog For Mental Health family on Sunday May 16th.  

  • Tell your friends and family you are doing ‘108 sun salutations for mental health’ and invite them to sponsor you. Maybe invite them to join you in the fun!

  • Go live, record a video or take a few pictures of yourself doing the sun salutations and share it on social media. People can sponsor you after you have completed them as well as in advance.

  • Receive emails every time someone donates on your behalf and tell your community how much you raised together.

  • Follow the link below to download a ready made message to share on social media post or send out in an email to get your community involved.

  • Follow us in Instagram @flipyourdog_yoga4mentalhealth and join the fun when we post our yoga challenge at the start of May.

  • Share our posts with your friends and family.

  • Print some of our posters and put them up in your work place and ask local coffee shops to put them up in their window,

  • Suggest local yoga studios and teachers get involved.

  • Create a SoundCloud or Mixcloud playlist and dedicate it to Flip Your Dog For Mental Health
