Marta Antero 2.png

Kundalini Yoga infused with Breath-work to help soothe & strengthen the nervous system. In classic Kundalini yoga we practice asanas, pranayama (the life force energy), Kriya yoga (set of exercises) and meditation.

In order to receive and manifest abundance and prosperity, you need to be present, to stay in tune with your physical body and become grounded. During this workshop we will be working on the chakras and opening the channels through different exercises to manifest balance, inner strength and peace of body, mind and soul.

ABOUT MARTA

Marta is an inspiring and passionate yoga teacher. Coming from a corporate background she brings a modern approach to Yoga, empowering students to embrace 'real life' challenges, to manage thier emotions and to create a shift in their life.

She specialises in Kundalini for Addiction and managing stress and anxiety.

BENJAMIN

TREE

16.00 - 17.30: Movement Medicine
Ben%20pic_edited.jpg

Movement Medicine is a powerful embodiment practice for our times.

Fundamentally it is a moving meditation where we bring movement and awareness to our bodies and our hearts and minds.

By bringing awareness into the body we come into a deeper relationship with ourselves and each other. This is a powerful path to truly stepping into our greatest potentials in life.

As we come into an embodied relationship with our bodies we can release many of the old patterns, emotions, and beliefs that have been stored in our system and open to new possibilities. By freeing up and accessing the intelligence of our body we allow the intelligence of life to move through us and guide our thoughts, actions, and ways of being beyond our conditioning and inherited modes of existence.

In a world where we are generally telling our bodies what to do, it is a revolutionary act to be guided by the intelligence of our body. In my understanding, this is the same practice that we need to embody in our relationship to the Earth we live on.

ABOUT BEN

Benjamin is deeply committed to showing up and playing his part in theses pivotal time we are living in. He is wholeheartedly engaged in his work with the awareness of where we find ourselves as a species and is he is commented to supporting people in practices to transform themselves and the world.

His offerings include Breathwork and Embodiment practices to support healing and awakening. His way of working brings release, clarity, and a strengthened connection to self, other and community.

He offers Movement Medicine dance journeys which are much like an Ecstatic Dance but with the addition of simple guided facilitation and an initial practice called Awakening the Dancer which is a core part of Movement Medicine’s way of working.

He’s also a Breathwork facilitator and teaches various Breathwork techniques including ones for deep inner work as well as ones for the optimisation of energy and vitality.

JUNIOR

VALENTINE

18.00-18.45: Sound Bath & Meditation
Junior V Gong.jpeg

Gong Baths are one of the most transformational holistic rejuvenating vibrational experiences one can have.

A gong bath is a sound massage for the body and mind. (great for those of you who like the idea of a massage, but don't like to be touched). Also for those who are looking to clear, or shift something in their lives. Gongs can kick-start the process of healing, but also test your resistance in letting go.

All you have to do is lay down comfortably, with a pillow and a blanket, and drift off into a deeply relaxed state.

ABOUT JUNIOR

Junior is a proud south London native born and bred with a background in performing. Since the age of six, he was thrusted on the stage and developed a deep love ever since for the arts and the discipline that it carries.

Junior’s yoga journey began a long long time ago where he combined his performing with the yoga practice but he wasn’t fully ready to accept the practice in all its glory, it wasn’t till a few years later that he would fully embrace his yogic path and truly fall deep love for the practice. Junior began to notice the benefits of the mind body and soul union through yoga & meditation; it began to reawaken the unspoken connection that he shares with the universe.

Junior’s classes are fun energetic with a dash of sass, combing creative sequencing and a spirit of playfulness with a dose of inspiration to help deepen your practice with a hint of spirituality. He doesn’t take yoga too seriously he believes you take what you want and need from the practice.

Junior invites you to come and share in the joy, experience the authentic honesty with each other and like-minded energies. Junior teaches Ashtanga, Mandala & Shamanism Vinyasa, Rocket & Yin yoga Forrest yoga. Also, hold's monthly sound healing Gong baths at Yoga house & Studio 54 Hot Yoga Peckham, and oat other pop locations.

Junior works deeply with energy as Reiki master and QI-gong, his thirst for knowledge is forever expanding. In his spare time catch him singing a tune, throwing some shapes, splits on the dance floor and getting dramatic when performing.
